Knights Templar Style Full Helm (Sugarloaf) - This conical full helm is often referred to as a sugarloaf style based on its resemblance to how sugar was transported in historic times. Popular with the Knights Templar, the conical form was intended to deflect glancing blows. It includes an adjustable interior liner and leather chin strap with buckle. The front of the helmet has brass brackets across the front and also the eye-slit.

This helmet is a solid construction and made from 18 gauge carbon steel. It comes with a stand to allow for easy displaying. It would be suitable for a variety of things including; a medieval fair, historic re-enactments, as a prop or costume, LARPing, and obviously for display. This is a hefty piece and could be used for medieval martial arts.

Please note that the helmet is adult-sized and will fit most adult heads without a problem. It will also fit older children and teens. I would not recommend it for a small child of course. Also, those adults with very large heads may have some pressure on the bridge of their nose requiring some adjustment, or possibly removal of the liner.
