This Western Field Model M550CD in 20 GA Pump Action Shotgun (MCL) was made for Western Field by Mossberg; it is essentially a Mossberg 500C in all but trademark. The Western Field trademark has appeared on hundreds of shotguns and rifles sold through Montgomery Ward's retail stores. Most of these models were manufactured through subcontracts. This particular gun was manufactured by Mossberg and features blued finish, hardwood pistol-grip style stock and ribbed fore-end, 28" barrel, 48” overall length, full choke, thumb safety, bead front sight, and solid rubber butt-plate.
