Very interesting M1 Garand Example April 1942 6 digit receiver (588XXX) with replacement WW2 barrel that is stamped "P.B.S. 6 - 45"    P.B.S. is the abbreviation for Peninsular Base Section - that was located in Naples, Italy (established Nov 1943 after allied Italy invasion)  many small arms weapons from the European Theater of Operation were sent there for repair and refurbishment from battle.  Bore is very good and muzzle wear is approx 2 which is very good.  All parts are Springfield from what I can determine.  Has original WW2 lock-bar  rear sight.  No import marks and rifle is completely functional and ready for the range.   Not a former drill rifle or welded or re-welded ceremonial rifle..  I can ship to FFL or C&R license holder at owners expense.   Payment - face to face = cash.  If shipping USPS Money Order, Discreet Paypal (friends option so no fees), personal check (wait till clear), NO "CERTIFIED BANK CHECK"  OR WESTERN UNION B.S!   More pics available on request...
