Early first model Browning Patent,1903 Colt Hammerless pistol. Made in 1904 with low four digit serial number. Blued finish worn and turned to a pleasing brown patina. No rust or pitting on this fine old piece. Action tight and 100% functional, chambered in 32acp. This Colt model was a favorite on both sides of the law during the prohibition Gangster era. Slim, natural pointing , and feels great in your hand. They are smooth running guns with almost never a malfution. John M Browning designed. This first model had a barrel lug much like the 1911 Colt models. They only said Browning patent on the slide for first run of the model.
