Up for sale/trade is a private ammo lot of 172 rounds of Black Hills loaded, Barnes TSX 70 Grain OTM 5.56 mm "Brown Tip" Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Development Group contracted and designed to exceed USSOCOM requirements "5.56 Optimized”. Exceeds the performance of MK262 Mod 1 and Hornady GMX and for use in Mid to short barreled carbines and is loaded with a 70 grain Barnes TSX (solid copper hollow point - boat tailed) bullet with the tip lacquered brown. The round was specifically designed for the MK16 SCAR, H&K 416, MK12 SPR and MK18 Rifles with and without suppressors. This round utilizes the 70 grain Barnes projectile that is designed as a “barrier blind” round as well as a Mid to Long Range projectile and performance is only minimally affected by any barrier that but significantly out performs conventional bullets in Military/Law enforcement situations where officers may be required to engage deadly threats in vehicles, through glass or behind light cover.
