This is a very nice example of a .22 target pistol. Prior to 1968, the Model 101 was imported with a 3.5-inch barrel. To skirt the GCA of 1968, the barrel was changed to a longer 5.9-inch barrel. This allowed the 101 to become a true target pistol. This example comes in good condition. There is some minor wear to the grips, and some slight finish wear on the slide. The barrel exhibits the usual frame-to-barrel finish loss and the muzzle exhibits a minor amount of finish wear. The bore is very bright. The pistol is in excellent mechanical condition. It also comes with a nice wood case with a glass observation panel. The inside of the case is made of green felt. The pistol comes with one 10-round magazine. This 101 would make a nice addition to any Beretta collection.
