Astra of Spain built the C96 Mauser Broomhandle under license for its troops and public and named it the Astra 900. Semi-auto box magazine pistol firing the powerful 7.63 round made the gun years ahead of any other auto loader of the era. Broomhandle Mauser design came out in 1896 and was produced by many countries up until the late 1930s. This rare and desirable Astra 900 is in good condition and will accept the available wood shoulder stock/holster to make it a deadly carbine. All mechanics seem functional and will make a great addition to your range day and collection. As always have used firearms inspected by qualified gunsmith before shooting. Reproduction Shoulder stock pictured is included in advertised price.
