Bore Condition: Excellent bore with strong rifling and shine throughout.

Matching Numbers: Bolt, trigger guard, magazine, stock, and dust cover are all numbers matching and correct Chinese parts.

Metal Condition: Metal is in very good condition throughout and is all original.

Wood Condition: Very good condition throughout.  The stock is original Chinese and has not been messed with or refinished.

FFL Status: 03 C&R eligible.

Notes: This is a very nice all original Chinese Type 56 SKS rifle that has been manufactured into a “paratrooper” model with 16.5″ barrel.  All parts are original Chinese parts with correct matching serial number.  This carbine has the factory side scope mount. The bayonet lug has been professionally removed and the cleaning rod hole is capped at the end of the stock.  Mechanically this rifle is in great shape and is sure to make a great shooter. This is one of the commercially sold Cowboy Companion carbines.
