This .25-35 W.C.F. Winchester Model 1894 Take down lever action rifle was made in 1903 has a 23” blued tapered octagon to round barrel that is fitted with a bead front sight and an elevation adjustable Marble tang peep sight. The barrel is dovetail cut for a rear sight and is fitted with a filler. The bore is very good. The left side of the barrel is stamped and reads “Nickel Steel Barrel Especially for Smokeless Powder” The top is stamped “The Winchester Repeating Arms Co. U.S.A. Patented August 21, 1894” and 25-35 W.C.F. The receiver has some light scratches and dents and a small area with bluing wear on the right side. The Walnut buttstock fitted with a steel buttplate and the forend are in very good condition with the exception of small scratches on right side of the buttstock. Overall the rifle is in very good condition and everything works and functions as it should. Please Note: The metal and wood have been refinished. Length of pull is 13-1/8", overall length is 41-1/2", and weight is 7.4 lbs.
