For sale a 1943 vintage M1 Garand with a serial number 1646xxx, which puts it a 1943. Chamber gauge shows a 1+ and muzzle 1. Stock shows use and has a seven digit number on it. There are no other markings. All marked parts are SA. The barrel is SA marked and indicates 1949. I'm not an expert and cannot identify parts with a dimple, angle, or number of rivets. . . I've been asked many times about the smallest detail. I just don't know. This rifle is a shooter with excellent bore numbers and cleanliness. All I know it was my grandfather's rifle for years. I may throw in a clip if I can find it. I will consider reasonable offers. I'd prefer to negotiate face to face on price. There were a few offers that were in my ball park, but they are a shot in the dark without putting hands on the rifle. I'm more inclined to negotiate in person. I'm not interested in a trade.
I will meet within 5 miles of New Stanton. I would prefer someone that has a concealed carry permit.
