This .40-70 Sharps Straight Ruger No.3 has a 24” blued tapered octagon barrel that is in very good condition.  The bore is very good. The barrel is stamped Old Reliable C. Sharps Arms Co Inc. Big Timber, Montana U.S.A. Cal. 40 2½. The front sight is a driftable blade and the rear sight is an elevation adjustable buckhorn sight.  The Walnut buttstock with synthetic buttplate and forearm are in good condition with the exception of some light handling marks and usage dents. The safety is set on the tang of the blued receiver. The length of pull is 13-1/2”, the overall length is 40-1/2”, and the weight is 8.4 lbs.  Our stock number is A965.
