Product Description
This is a G.L Rasch 16 ga double-barrel shotgun with a fully engraved receiver and trigger guard, the barrels are fluid steel. This is a very nice piece, the bluing on the barrels is a bit faded, no rust or pitting. The engraved receiver is beautifully done. The wood is high grade, it has been refinished at some point and a recoil pad added. The LOP is 14 1/4 inches from the front trigger. A bit of history, the Rasch family of gun makers began in the mid-1600s in Germany. They specialized in high quality and highly decorated arms. Their customers consisted of royalty and very wealthy families. This is not only a piece of art it is also a piece of histoy.
