Hungarian M44 carbine chambered in 7.62x54r. This rifle is in very good condition overall. Cosmetically this rifle is in very good condition. There is nearly 95% of the original bluing remaining, although there is some minor surface rust on the front sight. The wood stock is in good condition, there is an arsenal repair on the left side towards the front of the barrel (SEE PICTURES). The wood furniture has been refinished. The rifle is dated 1953, and is all matching. The rifle is import on the right side of the barrel. The bore is bright but the lands and grooves are faint and frosty. It is missing its cleaning rod. Mechanically this rifle is in very good condition and it functions as it should. This rifle would be an excellent addition to a Mosin Nagant collection! C&R eligible!
