FOR SALE: Wm. Moore & Co.
10 gauge SxS, from about 1875, exposed hammers, double triggers, underlever.  Still pretty tight; locks, triggers, firing pin mechanism still works great.  Birmingham proofs and 32" barrels that appear to be tightly choked.  English Straight Stock.  If you ever desired a BP brass or paper cartridge type Turkey gun (Antique), this could be it!  Recoil should be very manageable, as it weighs 9 lbs. !
One small repair to the wood directly behind the right lock- seems solid.  BP type pinned forearm.  Checkering is worn, but still visible.  Barrels are heavily patina'd; some case left on the lock plates.  Original steel butt.  Bores have some pitting present, but should be useable.
Overall, a pretty nice example of an 1870's era cartridge BP breech loading shotgun.
This is for use ONLY with Black Powder or equivalents.  NOT for use with smokeless powders!!  Brass or Paper hulls trimmed to the proper length should work great!

More pictures are available for the asking.  Cash only Face to Face here in Janesville.  Come take a look in person if you are close enough.  This is a pre 1899 Antique, so I can ship as an antique firearm.  It is up to you to find out if it legal in your area.

Thanks for looking!
