This is a Mauser 1914. It is chambered in 7.65mm also known as 32ACP. It is the fourth Variant of this model with the Mauser logo on the left side of the frame. It has checkered wood grips and two magazines. The frame has been Cerakoted by a professional licensed and certified Cerakote Dealer with 10+ years experience. It is dark earth colored with black trigger and controls. The slide retains about 35% of it's original bluing. Both slide and grips have been engraved by an Asheville NC artist with Nordic Runes and has been given a "Hammered Steel" look in parts. The runes on the slide represent themes of Homeland and Justice. See photos. The grips also have runes carved into the wood. This gun is in working condition and fires. There is an external locking lever and release button on the right side where the mag release is on modern pistols. The mag release is on the bottom of the grip and the mag must be removed before the slide can be released from the locked back position. The back of the slide has a "cocked" indicator. The bore is dark and has clear lands and grooves. This is an interesting and historical pistol that has been embellished with some great artistic elements.
