Excellent Condition. Appears to be all original. 26" round barrel. Bore is excellent for its age. Nice and shiny, defined rifling with some minor pitting. Oil rubbed stocks in very good condition with no cracks. Stocks fit very nice up against the metal. On close inspection there is a repair to the buttstock just forward of the buttplate on the comb. This repair is so well done that it was missed on initial inspections. Metal finish is easily 90%.

***Have confirmed through the Cody Firearms Museum that this rifle left the factory as it stands today with round barrel and chambered in 40-82. A formal Factory Winchester Letter will accompany this rifle.
