This is a NRA Factory sporterized Springfield Model 1903 chambered for 30-06. The 24” blued star gauged barrel is in very good condition having no scratches or corrosion. The front sight is the standard fixed blade set in a dovetail and the rear sight has been removed. The barrel has a scope block. The barrel band is not scratched or corroded, but the bluing has almost worn off. The bore is in good condition. The blued receiver has light finish wear around the edges but no corrosion. It has a scope block and a rear peep sight. A Lyman 48 peep sight with elevation and windage adjustments is mounted to the receiver. The bolt is in good condition having some finish wear on the safety and knob. The trigger guard and floor plate also have finish wear but are otherwise undamaged. The Walnut stock is in good condition being undamaged aside from the scrape on the left side of the buttstock. The rear sling swivel and buttplate have worn finishes but are not corroded or dented. The stock has been cut to allow for the peep sight to be mounted. Length of pull is 12-½”, overall length is 43-½”, and weight is 8.4 lbs. Our stock number is #A357.
