Additional Info: Colt 1911 Argentine MFG. .45ACP In 1927 the Argentina Arsenal ( DGFM - FMAP ) began manufacturing the 1911-A1 Pistol in Cal. 11.25MM (.45ACP) : these guns were made under license from Colt, on Colt Machinery with supervision from Colt Engineers. They were manufactured with all parts to be interchangeable with a standard Colt Model 1911; they are known as the Model 1927 Sistema Colt.
