This is an interesting and unique AK style sporting rifle in like-new condition.  This is a Polytech Hunter model in 7.62x39 caliber that was imported into the United States in the late 1980's and early 1990's.  It is a semi-auto milled AK pattern rifle with a 20" inch chrome lined barrel with iron sights and a checkered wood stock set   It is a very well made weapon with a nice factory blue finish on all of the metal parts and has matching numbers on all external parts.  It uses normal AK style magazines and comes with one 30 rd preban AK magazine. While the rifle itself is stamped with  with "386" inside an oval which tells us it was actually made by Polytech.  It has a standard AK style lever safety on the right side of the receiver.  The Hunter AK is not interchangable with any other AK parts which by Maura Healy's definition, it is NOT considered an assault weapon!!

As mentioned before, this Norinco Hunter has spent most of it's life in storage and is like-new.  The blue finish rates 99% and the chrome lined bore is minty and bright.  In excellent condition and shows only a few storage dings that are only visible under very close inspection.  This has to be one of the nicest examples of this unique rifle in existence!  If you are a fan of AKs or unique semi-auto rifles this would be an excellent addition to your collection.  It would be impossible to upgrade from this one....
