Bore Condition: Good bore with strong rifling and shine throughout. Some frosting in the grooves. It has been counter-bored.

Matching Numbers: Bolt is matching. The buttplate and magazine floorplate are number matching.  All other parts match in finish and wear. M44 stock

Metal Condition: Metal is in very good condition throughout. There are some light handling marks.

Wood Condition: Stock is in good condition throughout. Some light dings and handling marks. This is a nice original laminate M44 stock.

Notes: This is a very nice all original Russian M38 Mosin Nagant carbine manufactured in 1942 at the Izhevsk Arsenal. Mechanically this carbine works great and is sure to make for an excellent shooter.  There is a small import mark end of the barrel.  This rifle comes complete with the original cleaning rod. If you’re looking for a nice collectible Russian M38 that you won’t be afraid to take to the range, this is a great example!
