This 1906 produced .38-40 Colt 1873 revolver has a 4-3/4” barrel mounted with a blade front sight. The bore is in very good condition with the exception of a several light pits. The finish on the revolver has patinaed over the years. The blued finish under the ejector rod housing is still intact. The top of the barrel reads Colt’s PT. F. A. MFG. Co. Hartford. CT. U.S.A. The left side of the frame is stamped with patent dates. The checkered synthetic grips have lost their sharpness in the checkering. Both grips feature the Colt logo but are heavily worn. Everything on the revolver works and functions as it should. Please Note: The serial number on the loading gate does not match the rest of the revolver. The weight of the gun is 2 lbs, 6 oz.
