Caliber: 7.62x39mm

Bore Condition: The chrome lined bore is in excellent condition with strong rifling and shine throughout.

Matching Numbers: Parts are all matching and correct. Stock is not numbered, but is original Chinese military stock.

Metal Condition: Metal is in good condition with all original finish. Some wear to the bluing and light handling marks throughout. The gas tube has most of the wear.  It has some light pitting and finish loss.

Wood Condition: Stock is in good condition throughout. There is a small split near the rear of the receiver that is not structural and could be easily repaired. The sling loop is missing on the bottom of the stock. It has not been refinished and is all original.

Notes: This is a very nice and hard to find early Chinese Type 56 SKS rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm.  This rifle works great mechanically and is sure to be a great shooter.  This rifle is not Chinese marked and is known as a “ghost” or sterilized SKS.  It has a threaded in barrel and milled trigger group.  All numbered parts are matching.  The bottom sling loop is missing on the stock.  There is a discreet import on the right side of the receiver. The original cleaning rod and cleaning kit included.
