This is a working antique Winchester model 1890. This rifle is chambered in 22 short. According to proof house.com this was produced in 1897. So this qualifies as an antique under federal law. I test fired 2 CCI 22 short CB with no issues. Of a gun of this age I would not recommend high velocity. The bluing on the barrel looks original and good shape with some corrosion. The finish on the receiver is worn. Over all good condition with a good boar. This rifle is a 123 years old. The model 1890 is not seen  for sale as an antique very often. Please send any questions you may have. I am selling this for an estate.
