This .45-70 Pedersoli Springfield Model 1873 Trap Door Officers Model Saddle Ring Carbine has a 26” blued tapered round barrel mounted with an adjustable 1873 trapdoor rear sight and a bead front sight. The rifle also features an adjustable color case hardened flip up tang sight. The bore is in very good condition. The left side of the barrel reads F. - Santa Ana, CA. Pedersoli Cal. 45-70 Made in Italy Cat. 9403. The lock plate reads U.S. Springfield and is stamped with a spread eagle. The European Walnut stock with checkered wrist and forend is in very good condition with color case hardened furniture. Mounted to the left side of the stock is a saddle ring base and ring. The rifle comes with a single set trigger and features a cleaning rod that mounts below the barrel. Condition: Like New - Unfired.  Overall length is 45-1/4", length of pull is 13-1/4" and weight is 8 lbs. Our stock number is C28. Will ship to any FFL anywhere in the United States.
