The ergonomic design and extended sight radius of the Walther® P22® Target makes it an ideal semi-auto rimfire pistol for plinking and target shooting. The P22 Target operates with an external hammer and a double-, single-action trigger; a thumb safety blocks the firing pin; and an additional safety prevents the pistol from firing if dropped. The frame is constructed of tough polymer with a non-slip cross-directional grip surface; and the pistol comes with 2 interchangeable backstraps to customize for hand fit. An integral Picatinny rail provides for attaching aftermarket sights and lights. The ambidextrous magazine release is easily reached with the shooter's thumb. The Walther P22 Target Semi-Auto Pistol comes with 3-dot, low-profile sights that are quick to acquire in a variety of lighting and that allow precision shot placement. The rear sight is screw adjustable for windage.
