Beautiful sample of an all original, numbers matching, 5 screw, Smith & Wesson 38 Special Revolver, model 1905 Military and Police 4th Change, predecessor to the Model 10 revolver that came out in 1957, gun is in great condition with excellent rifling, shoots great and accurate. The double action is very smooth with no creep, in my opinion feels smoother than a modern double action S&W revolver, and the single action pull is super short and breaks like glass. The blued steel finish is nice especially for its age being almost 100 years old, original checkered walnut grips, checkered hammer spur, 6 shot fluted cylinder, smooth trigger, squared butt, 5 inch barrel, fixed sights, serial number dates it around 1928-1929, previously owned by a World War 2 veteran and very well maintained till this day. Howdy,

I'm listing up a few guns for sale here as I've run out of room in my safe and have no desire to expand, so I'm moving those that I don't shoot often enough to make room for new ones or just cut down entirely.

All of my firearms will include all OEM parts if any have been changed, aswell as all original packaging and paperwork unless specified otherwise. The likelihood of me being able to produce the original receipt is likely, but will take time if needed. All my listings are "or best offer" and "or trade", trade considerations listed at bottom.

This listing is for my Glock 47 Gen 5 MOS (ignore the purple hockey tape, it's just cosmetic preference).

The upgrades/changes I've made are:

- Holosun SCS MOS direct-mount red dot w/ solar charging (no plates needed)
- Glock OEM Performance Trigger (still has original pull weight)
- Streamlight TLR-1 HL
- Undercut

Also included are 5x OEM Glock 17 Mags, OEM plates, an OWB G&G Molded Kydex Holster fitted with the TLR-1, and a cheap IWB holster.

I've put less than 200 rounds through this gun, and as much as I like it, I never shoot it. The optic is perfectly dialed at 30 yards currently and torqued/loctite blued.

I absolutely baby all of my guns, I do not tolerate rust, dust, or a fuss. If something is dirty, broken, dry, or not working at it's maximum potential I address it. You won't waste your time with me or what I have on offer, I'm a no-BS "let's get this over with" kind of guy.

This has the Up-Graded "Bruce Gray - Gray Guns" "Action Tuned" Enhanced Trigger assembly. This is a Wilson Only model up grade by the leading Sig expert B. Gray.

It's own unique "WC" serial number.

These are all *New factory 380 acp. Premium ammo, custom (re)loaded (read all below) to +P extra pressure for significantly higher velocities than originally loaded. The bullet (projectile), casing and primer are all New factory. Only the powder Was changed.

Not Factory Pressure! (It's high)

*** Note, this ammo was/is intended for a "Woodsman" type Back Country defense load for an absolute emergency Against Wild deadly Animals.

I no longer have the need for this ammo as the reason it was altered is no longer there.

It's being sold as is and due to the pressures and velocities You assume full and total responsibility as you naturally would with buying other custom loaded brands like Buffalo Bore ammo, etc.

That said and understood, all the ammo was bought new off the shelf as labeled. The factory powder Was removed and discarded. It Was Reloaded with new factory powder (listed below) to increase the pressure thus making it more powerful for Wild dangerous animal threats. That is how and why.

As far as I know there is no standard on high pressure 380 Loads so make sure your gun (brand/model) can handle it safely to avoid a disaster.

The Federal Punch and Hornady Critical Defense have right at 5.9gr of Hogdon Longshot powder. The rounds were seated, the bullets to the Factory OAL, and put a light taper crimp after.

The Federal HST required a little more caution, they were loaded with 5 grains of the same Hogdon Longshot powder, and backed the seating depth off from 0.9355” (factory) to 0.9525” just to help avoid pressure spikes.

The data: 5 of each batch were chono'ed for consistency. As with any brands they have a small margin of spread in velocities but remain consistent. I'm unable to locate the chrono data but each round essentially gained 120-150 feet more per second. I marked each “Hot” round with a “Red” mark on the rim of each casing for ID.

I have:
- 2x 50rnd LE boxes of Federal HST.

- 5x 20rnd boxes of Federal Punch.

- 4x 25rnd boxes of Hornady FTX Critical Defense.

- 1x 20rnds of Sig ELITE V-Crown HP's.

I then tested (more) 10 HST and 10 Critical Defense and Punch in a 2.8 inch LCP Max The accuracy was good at 30 feet. All preformed great, no problem. The pistol took a pounding but all in all it wasn't bad. Out of pre-caution I replaced the recoil rod and barrel pivot pin. I would Not run a steady diet of this stuff, it will beat your pistol up. For reference, look up "380 +P Ammo" reviews from company's like Buffalo Bore, Underwood, Double Tap, etc for a similar idea of what your looking at.

Test it in your gun if it’s safe to be sure it works and if you feel comfortable with it prior to going out.

Basically I'm looking to get out of them what I put into it all. The item, s/h, cost of custom reloading.
