Classic U.S. Military M1 Garand manufactured by Harrington & Richardson (H&R Arms Co.). Receiver marked U.S. RIFLE CAL .30 M1 / H&R ARMS CO. Serial #5660679. Barrel marked HRA, dated 6/62.

Rifle is currently fitted in a tan/FDE stock for durability and useability. Comes with its original WWII/Korean War era walnut stock set including upper handguard — honest surplus wear throughout, solid wood with no cracks -- a piece of American military history. Two (2) en-blocs metal clips included.

OVERVIEW:

Receiver marked: U.S. RIFLE CAL .30 M1, H&R ARMS CO., Serial #5660679
Barrel marked: HRA 3535448 6 35 R962 — indicating an HRA barrel dated June 1962
Stock: Synthetic/polymer aftermarket stock in FDE/tan (likely Boyds or similar)
Condition: Action shows wear/patina consistent with a used military surplus rifle; bore appears dark with some copper fouling visible in the muzzle photo
The receiver interior (Image 6) shows normal wear but some rough casting marks typical of HRA production

H&R manufactured M1 Garands primarily for the U.S. military from the early 1950s through 1956, with some later production. Serial 5660679 places this in the mid-to-late HRA production run.
