The Heritage Model 92 is a lever action carbine chambered in .45 Colt. It features an 18-inch barrel and an 8-round tubular magazine capacity. The rifle uses a traditional lever-operated action and is configured for left-handed operation. The stock is constructed from wood, complementing the metal receiver and barrel assembly. The overall design follows the classic pistol-caliber lever rifle pattern associated with the Model 92 format.

Factory-equipped sights include a drift-adjustable front sight and an adjustable buckhorn rear sight, allowing precise elevation and windage tuning. The barrel is not threaded.
