Hard to find 1968, Winchester produced the Illinois Sesquicentennial Commemorative Model 1894 in a saddle ring carbine, with a total of 37,468 units made. This commemorative model features an engraved receiver, a round barrel, gold-accented markings, a saddle ring, and a smooth walnut stock set with an Illinois 150 Years of Progress Sesquicentennial medallion inlaid on the right side of the buttstock. This Commemorative Model 94 saddle ring carbine is an excellent shooter and a fun range or farm toy for someone who enjoys classic firearms. However, with so few made, it is also an excellent pickup for residents of the Land of Lincoln. This rifle is in very good condition, with 90% of its metal finish remaining, a good bore, and strong mechanics.
