9mm Sterling is the target shooter’s standard 115-grain FMJ load. That lightweight bullet propels to supersonic muzzle velocity out of a handgun’s barrel, so it’s going to make a sharp crack before it flies off in a straight trajectory. This bullet’s round nose profile will support reliable feeding from a semi-auto’s magazine.

Sterling’s production facility in Ankara turns out 140 million rounds of 9mm annually, in addition to a variety of rifle and shotgun rounds. They use newly minted brass cases to load these rounds, as well as a clean-burning propellant and non-corrosive primers.
