You are looking at a beautiful Browning Model 1886 High-Grade Lever Action Rifle with a 26” Octagon Barrel in .45-70 Caliber. This is the rifle with the crescent butt-plate … not the carbine, one of a very limited production of 3000 total produced 20+ years ago. This rifle is in perfect condition in every way, new and unfired in the factory box. Since I purchased it, it has either been in my safe or on display in a glass case. The metal and wood on the gun is excellent … not even any handling marks.
