I have a pre-80 Series Colt Commander in 38 Super with the Colt Satin Chrome finish. This finish is actually similar to a modern Electrolysis Nickle. As you can see from the photos, this gun is in great condition. It is an excellent shooter and the finish on it is still in very good shape. This is the rarest of the pre-80 Series Colt Commanders as fewer of them were made in the Satin Chrome than any other finish and by far the lowest production caliber was the 38 Super. You will find 2 for sale on GunBroker in similar condition but both of them are priced at or above $1900; they don't have any bids at the moment so that is probably a little high.

This is an excellent pistol in great condition and will make some Colt collector very happy. I am selling so I can afford another gun that I want that I will end up shooting more.
