Referred to by many names including the Persian Mauser, M-1310, Persian CZ98, and the Persian BRNO, this rifle is often sought after by collectors for its rarity and craftsmanship. Due to its condition and testimony from the previous owner, we presume this firearm to be unfired with minimal wear marks on the wood where the rifle was most likely resting as well as a missing cleaning rod.

This rifle was primarily manufactured by the BRNO Arsenal in Czechoslovakia and was virtually idential to the VZ24. It served as the primary battle rifle for Iran until the M1 Garand was adopted atfer 1946. Production ended in 1949 before domestic production switched entirely to the Kootah carbine version.
