Detailed Description: The XD(M) from Springfield offers superior ergonomics, reliable performance and ease of use. Setting the standard for what a polymer pistol can be, the XD(M) is a great choice for those who want full-size performance in a shorter package. This full size striker-fired pistol has a 4.5" barrel and three-dot sights. Aggressive grip texturing aids in controlling the pistol under recoil, and a forward accessory rail provides real estate for a tactical light or laser sight.
This pistol is equipped with the OSP (Optical Sight Pistol) package. The slide is milled and three adapter plates are included to allow direct attachment of optics without expensive gunsmith work. The plates support popular sights such as the Vortex Venom, Burris FastFire 2 and 3, Leupold DeltaPoint and DeltaPoint Pro, Trijicon RMR and more. A cover plate provides a seamless slide when optics are not in use.
