It has a 16" stainless bull match barrel with 1/9 twist rifling, free-float handguard, low profile gas block, and a FA bolt carrier group with Carpenter 158 steel bolt, 8620 carrier, proper gas key screw staking (thats all mil-spec info). Receiver is a flat-top A3 style with M4 feed ramps to match the barrel extension feed ramps. It is machined from a mil-spec 7075 forging and then hardcoat anodized black. Has forward assist, shell deflector, and dust cover. In essence, this upper has all the required parts, assembled at the factory, to create a functional rifle minus a complete lower half. I changed my mind and I am going to stick with the front sight. The gas block was never installed and but I had it in my pocket with keys the other day so it has a couple scratches.
