Generous, radiused undercut of the Timberwolf frame eliminates "Glock knuckle", permits a higher grip for reduced perceived recoil, and permits larger-handed shooters to enjoy the concealability of a compact firearm.

Relieved-radius tang assists in a higher grip effectively lowering bore axis while also distributing recoil impulse safely across the web of the hand without beating on thumb knuckle. Extended beavertail shields the hand from slide movement and disperses recoil impulse.

Some years ago I met Mark McCoy, the owner of Carolina Arms Group, at one of my local gun shops. He had recently colaborated with Pat McNamera, former Spec Ops veteran, with the intention to make the ultimate 1911. I had the opportunity to fire Mark's very own Blaze Ops at the shop's indoor range. I was blown away by how smooth, comfortable, accurate, and amazingly built the pistol was. I was further blown way to find that a few of these were still available for purchase. I ordered mine directly from Mark that day.

Fast forward to today. I'm trying to expand my at-home business, so offer the opportunity to own this amazing item to another lucky person.

While I fired Mark's own pistol that day, mine remains unfired. As such, I'm listing at full and original retail price. Not a penny less.

One such article is within the Fall 2018 issue of Ballistic magazine (as pictured in this listing). I made sure to get a copy to keep along with the pistol, so I'm including it with the sale.
