This vintage one of a kind custom scrimshawed tan to chocolate brown octagon tipped horn is beautifully hand made with uniquely carved pouring tip and scrimshawed throughout the horn. The scene depicts a fort and some animals along with some writing and patterns. The primitive style base plug fits nicely into the horn and has a square staple for sling attachment. Please note there is no leather sling on this horn. This horn is in very good condition. Maker unknown.

This large 18” one of a kind off white custom scrimshawed map horn is beautifully hand made with unique detail on the pour tip area and scrimshaw work throughout the horn. It is large enough to serve as a storage horn. The map scene depicts the Native American souls of the area in and around the Columbia Valley from Louisiana to the Pacific Ocean. The hand turned acorn style base plug fits nicely into the horn and comes with a 52” long x 1/2” wide brown leather carrying strap. This horn is in very good condition with the exception of some handling marks. Maker: Rolland Gust

This large 16” tan to white one of a kind custom scrimshawed map horn was made for the C.B.P.F National shoot in 1978. It is beautifully hand made with scrimshaw work throughout the horn and nicely scalloped detail around both the tip and base of the horn. The map scene depicts the area of the Northwest Rebellion of 1885 “Riel’s Revenge” which is noted in two separate banners. The turned Walnut acorn style base plug fits nicely into the horn. The top part of the acorn is a plug that unscrews for easy filling. The pouring spout has a brass push button valve. It has a 52” long x 1/2” wide adjustable brown leather sling. This horn is in very good condition with the exception of a flaw in the horn. Maker: Unknown

This vintage Primitive style tan to black 16” one of a kind custom scrimshawed J.E.G horn is beautifully hand made with scrimshaw work throughout the horn. The scene depicts a cabin homestead with J.E.G under a wheat field with a scrimshawed rope wrapping around the horn from tip to base. Scrimshawed near the horn tip is an Eagles head and crossed rifles and a Rose Compass at the butt. A tab of the horn sits above the rear plug that acts as a guide for the leather strap. The primitive style Walnut base plug fits nicely into the horn and has a 48” long x 1/4” wide leather carrying strap. This horn is in very good condition with the exception of some handling marks.
