I gave an extra complement to the CMP for their quality work & asked for a WWII receiver.
Fortunately they provided me with a Springfield Armory 5 digits serial #148xx M1 Garand, Pre-war August 1939
This serial is the lowest serial number WWII Grand that I have ever seen. Both Muzzle and Throat readings are 0+.

Pre-owned Remington 700 BDL in 7mm Remington Magnum. This fine model 700 specimen was manufactured in October of 1971 and is in excellent condition for it's age. The Walnut Monte Carlo stock's pistol grip and forend are checkered and she has minor handling marks about. The receiver and barrel are in excellent condition, as well, having very minor wear/handling marks. The bore is bright and shiny and the rifling is still very crisp. She still sports the factory original hooded front bead sight, however, the factory rear sight has been removed. A Redfield base and rings secure a Leupold Vari-X II 3-9x40 scope on top for your viewing pleasure! This gun will definitely add some class to your gun safe, as well as, make you the envy of deer camp, so don't let this one get away!!

Up for sale is the elusive Savage arms .22LR - Model 29-b slam fire rifle with 4X scope.

The Savage Model 29 series was a line of pump-action .22 rifles made from the early 1920s through the late 1960s. The 29-B variant was introduced in the late 1930s as a refined version with minor design and cosmetic changes. It was designed as a takedown rifle for plinking, small-game hunting, and general recreation.

This is a pre-ban rifle, manufactured in February 1994 (Serial prefix: 186), originally intended for law enforcement use only and not offered to the civilian market at the time.

Condition:

The rifle is presented as like new. It appears to be unfired, though we cannot guarantee it wasn’t test-fired or used by a previous owner. It is in excellent original condition, with all factory components intact. Please note: the original box was lost during a move.

J.Stevens Crackshot-26, Lever-Action, Take-Down .22LR, 1Rd.18"/ 32" OAL.

The rifle is in GOOD OVERALL CONDITION, with OBVIOUS HEAVY surface scratching/scuffing on the barrel, receiver, and both stocks. But nothing deep or penetrating. There are a OBVIOUS dings/ indents, and minor spotting on both wood stocks. However, the wood shows no signs of cracks, splitting or breakage. With NO serious damage to them other than the dinging, spotting. The low gloss finish on the stocks, is still barely present, but fading. And the blueing on the metal is faded and dulling due to age. However, in some spots on the receiver and trigger guard, it is beginning to tone. ALL the screws are present, and not rusted! The front iron sight is present and functional. However, the rear sight is missing, but has a nice clear dovetail recess for a replacement.

The “S” shaped lever-action bar still functions as it should, and draws back smoothly and clean. And everything locks closed tightly and firm. (SEE PICTURES) The rifle takes down and reassembles perfectly, with no known issues. The original takedown screw is still in EXCELLENT shape, with no rust or corrosion. And the threading is still crisp and clean! All the stamping, including the hallmarks, is legible. (SEE PICTURES) There are no serious signs of rust or corrosion forming on the rifle. Lastly, the rifle was manufactured between 1915-1945, "J.Stevens Arms Company" is the stamping.
