This firearm is a Colt model of 1911 chambered in 45ACP manufactured in 1918 as evident by the serial number (SN: 2614XX). The firearm has a 5" barrel and comes with a 7rd period correct magazine that is half blued. The firearm is in great condition with regards to its age, with stampings of the period.

Markings include:

-Maj. John M. Gilbert proof - above magazine release

-G proof - near disconnector

-S proof - near disconnector

-H proof - near firing pin/backplate

-Colt pony proof - rear left of slide

-Etc.

A checkered slide release is on the firearm as evidenced in photos. Proper markings are found on the slide and frame. Will ship in a MTM hard case for protection. This firearm is a piece of history that has been mostly saved from the test of time and is sure to be a collectors piece for the rest of history, get yours today!

KEL-TEC R50 FEATURES:

If 5.7×28mm velocity is your thing, the KelTec R50 is the right carbine for you. This side-folding tack driver gives you maximum speed, accuracy, and power downrange with its 16-inch, threaded barrel and optic mounting option. R50 stands for Rifle - 50 Rounds in complementing contrast to the P50, the pistol version of the same platform.
