Directly descended from the rifles developed by LWRCI™ to meet the requirements for the U.S. Army Individual Carbine program, the IC-A5 is built for high performance.

The IC-A5 is the latest model in the IC – Individual Carbine series. Customers called for an adjustable gas block and the longer 12” SPR style rail system on the same rifle. We listened- the IC-A5 is designed with a low profile 2 position adjustable gas block allowing the shooter to compensate for running a suppressor with the added benefit of our longer modular rail system.

The upper rail section on the IC-A5 is an aesthetically pleasing special cutback version which allows us to use the low profile gas block and at the same time keep the full 12” modular rails available on the sides and bottom of the hand guards. This IC-A5 brings together features of both the IC Enhanced and the IC-SPR in one package.

Like all IC models the IC-A5 is constructed using the highest quality materials, built on our patented self-regulating short-stroke gas piston system, machined from materials that belong to the super alloy family of steel alloys most often used in aerospace, LWRCI™ raises the bar on reliability and ease of maintenance- delivering the highest level of performance. The gas-piston system can be accessed quickly by loosening two thumb screws.

Dual Control fully ambidextrous lower receiver includes bolt catch and release, magazine release and fire control access from both sides of the IC-A5. LWRCI™ Enhanced Fire Control Group comes standard. Our investment castings are x-rayed for imperfections and nickel-boron coated for a smooth crisp trigger pull with positive reset.

Our IC-A5 uses LWRCI™ manufactured- NiCorr treated cold Hammer Forged spiral fluted barrel that are 20% lighter than unfluted barrels of the same diameter. The increased surface area reduces heat – speeds up cooling. Nickel-boron coated bolt carrier delivers unparalleled wear resistance, corrosion resistance and permanent lubricity.

This 1911 has only been factory fired. A older customer bought it, took it home and took it apart to clean it. He couldn’t get it back together, so he brought it back to the shop and we put it back together for him. However, he thought it was “defective” because he didn’t know how to get it back together, and traded it back to us towards the purchase of something else. Well, in the process of his trying to put it back together, he put a few scratches on it. See the photo gallery.

This firearm is a Norinco model of MAK90 chambered for 7.62x39mm. The MAK-90 name is derived from Modified AK for 1990 after an executive order signed by Bush Sr in 1989 banned certain cosmetic features from imported rifles, including a threaded barrel, bayonet lug, pistol grip and while they came with 5rd mags from the factory, regular mags still work fine. These rifles are known for their durability and high quality with a few minor differences compared to other AK rifles, such as the receiver on these is .5mm thicker than normal. They have a blued finish distinct to the chinese AK rifles but are known to be fine rifles with one of the best triggers on any factory AK. This example sports the factory furniture and internals with an aftermarket 30rd magazine that glides into the magwell. The receiver is a slant cut model and the serial number of the rifle (SN:46754) makes it hard to pinpoint when this rifle was manufactured/imported due to the little amount of information released by chinese manufacturers of these rifles. Unfortunately the rifle does not have any supporting items with it such as a box, original 5rd mag, or paperwork. These AK pattern rifles are known to be some of the best ever brought into the country and will only increase in value as evidenced ever since their banning from import, get yours today!

Adjustable length of pull – The VP9 A1 now offers a total of six replaceable backstraps.
