Mech-Tech Pistol Caliber carbine conversion: remove the slide from a 1911 and insert the frame into the conversion unit, you'll have a 16" carbine. I have upgrades on this beyond the basics, including handle and front sight, collapsible stock. It's rated for 45 Super, which gives excellent performance, significantly above 45acp +P. 4 x 10rd Wilson mags, use in 1911 as a pistol or as the frame for the carbine conversion.

Purchased this Tungsten Magwell back in April '24 for adding weight & stability & dampening to my Bul Armory SAS II 'Air' pistol.
It did exactly that ... and will very simply plug-and-play fit onto & do the same for any Bul SAS II pistol (Tac series, Air, Saw, Radical, Open pistols, etc).
And can, highly likely I believe, be affixed to other branded DS 1911s and 2011s by any quality gunsmith without significant effort or expense.

Obviously I prefer a heavier pistol - and it made a lighter handgun feel far more steady & substantial.
But I sold my Air a few months later to someone who likes lighter guns & didn't want this as part of the sale.
If you prefer that more solid, dampened feeling in your shooting ... this is a fantastic, easy way to do that (and FAR less expensive than buying a steel grip module) !
